Students can request materials for core course materials packages during one of two rounds each semester. Submit a request only after your course placement has been confirmed.

Requests received outside of these deadlines will not be considered, and course materials will only be awarded during these timeframes.
Core Course Materials Packages are pre-assembled bundles of required materials for high-demand courses. These packages cover all required resources, including textbooks, subscriptions, and lab equipment, where applicable. Core courses currently covered include:
- Chemistry 101
- Biology 201
- Spanish 101/102
- Spanish 203/204
By implementing set deadlines, DukeLIFE is able to work with the financial aid office and Duke Bookstore to expedite the delivery of materials for these courses.
Students who are not enrolled in a Core Courses course may still request materials using the regular CMA application if the instructor has adopted their materials through the Duke Bookstore.
If approved, we will provide you with a voucher to purchase your items through eCampus by the end of add/drop. Once you place your order, you will receive your items according to the following timelines.

If you drop a course after we've approved your application, do not redeem your voucher or pick up your item from the bookstore.
