I went to a commuter school in Harlem, NYC. Throughout our studies, my fellow classmates and I worked part, or full time. And, we were largely 1G/LI. It was mostly safely assumed. This experience gave me a valuable perspective on what it meant to share similar goals for learning and creating a better future for ourselves. This experience further sharpened my focus on working hard, and the opportunities afforded to me. I am devoted to researching and implementing pedagogical methods for an inclusive and engaging environment; one that optimizes the rich cognitive diversity for which we are fortunate to take advantage of.
