LIFE Loaner Laptop Program

DukeLIFE endeavors to make educational technology available to all students, despite the cost. Therefore, we maintain a stock of MacBook Pro laptops available as long-term (multiyear) loans to students to use during their time at Duke. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will be approved for eligible students until the stock is exhausted.

Eligibility:
DukeLIFE undergraduates actively enrolled in Trinity or Pratt and who have demonstrated highest financial need as indicated in their need-based financial aid records. The DukeLIFE office notified all students who meet the financial eligibility criteria for the 2021-2022 academic year via email on Friday, September 17, 2021. Please check your email for receipt of this communication before applying.

Application Instructions:
1. Complete and submit the application. Provide all the requested information.

2. A staff member will contact you to communicate the status of your application and the availability of the requested equipment within two business days. Supplies are limited. We will assist as many students as we can. Financial Aid records will be consulted when reviewing applications. Please communicate your current technological limitations to your instructors.
