LIFE Professional Attire Grant

LIFE Professional Attire Grant

Update: The funding for this grant has been exhausted due to increased demand. We are no longer accepting applications Spring 2023. We expect to reopen in the fall.

DukeLIFE maintains a fund to help students alleviate the cost of purchasing professional attire for job/internship interviews and conference presentations.  Students may apply to receive up to $250 for clothing purchases for a job/internship interview or conference presentation. Awards will be made until funds are exhausted.

Who is eligible to apply?

  • DukeLIFE undergraduates actively enrolled in Trinity or Pratt who have demonstrated high financial need as indicated in their need-based financial aid record. The DukeLIFE office notifies all students who meet the financial eligibility criteria each academic year via email. Check your email for receipt of this communication to confirm your eligibility prior to applying. Students may write to dukelife@duke.edu to inquire about their eligibility.
  • Students will not receive funding for past purchases.
