Senior Program Coordinator
Ana Bessias (she/her) is a Senior Program Coordinator with DukeLIFE. She helps coordinate several of the office’s student programs, including Course Materials Assistance, the Loaner Laptop Program, and STEM Tutoring. She also supports student communications, program data and reporting, and works with campus partners to help connect students with DukeLIFE resources.
Ana has worked in education and student support for more than a decade. Before joining DukeLIFE, she worked at Duke’s Nicholas School of the Environment in undergraduate student services and career and professional development. Her earlier work included supporting students in K–12 schools in Boston and Philadelphia.
Ana earned her B.A. in Psychology from Goucher College. She especially enjoys work that brings people together and helps make programs and resources easier for students to navigate.
Outside of work, Ana enjoys photography, documentary film, creative projects, and exploring Durham.
